Verset

Oh Lord my  God, when I in  awesome wonder
When through the  woods, and forest  glades I wander,
And when I  think that God, His  Son not sparing
When Christ shall  come with shout of  acclamation

Consider  all the  worlds Thy  hands have  made;
And hear the  birds sing  sweetly  in the  trees;
Sent Him to  die, I  scarce can  take it  in;
And take me  home, what  joy shall  fill my  heart;

I see the stars, I hear the  rolling thunder:
When I look down from lofty  mountain grandeur,
That on the cross, my burden  gladly bearing,
Then I shall bow in humble  adoration,
  A2  Bm  A2
Thy pow'r through -  out the  uni -  verse dis -  played.
And hear the b -  rook and  feel the  gentle  breeze.
He bled and d -  ied to  take a -  way my  sin.
And there pro - c -  laim my  God how  great Thou  art!
